Once again James Wan and John Leonetti try to make a horror backstory out of their smash hit The Conjuring, and it falls increasingly flat. They had an idea to make a film about the warrens journey before our satanic doll but that went dead on the floor. this sadly gets a depressing 4 out of 10 the reason you'll go in thinking what a cool film but you'll come out with a lot of what if's and how come's that even your friends can't answer.
