peanuts

Lucy van Pelt: [to Charlie Brown] I hate to admit it, you blockhead, but public opinion leads me to believe that after all these years, I *may* have been wrong about you. This has not been easy for me.
[pulling her hair]
Lucy van Pelt: MY WHOLE WORLD HAS TURNED UPSIDE DOWN!

Get ready for a new take on an old classic, Peanuts is back to lead the kids of the 21st century into adulthood. Taking with them the wisecracking humor that their parents grew to love. I give this a 10 out of 10, the humor in it is for mostly kids from 7-8 but the adults will be able to watch it and reminisce on the days of their youth.

wicked city

Douglas Daniel Clark and his accomplice Carol M. Bundy are American serial killers and were known as the "Sunset Strip Killers." They were accused and subsequently convicted of a series of killings in Los Angeles. Clark was charged with six murders. At his trial, he acted as his own defense and tried to blame Bundy for everything, portraying himself as an innocent dupe. The jury did not believe him; he was sentenced to death in 1983. He still sits on California's death row. Bundy on the other hand, made a plea bargain and, in return for her testimony, only received a life sentence. Bundy died on December 9, 2003 in prison at the age of sixty-one from heart failure. This is the story that would rock L.A.

Kelsey: Are you sure he's a vampire?
Dracula: Of course he is look at him... he's just like me

The howl ( pun intended ) gang is back in this sequel seeing where now Mavis is happily married to her human boyfriend. And the hijinks continue as humans are now checking into the once home away from home for the undead. 5 out of 10, If you never saw the first one..... one wouldn't need to. just to enjoy this one both 1 and 2 focus on the same basis of childlike humor.

BRIDGE OF SPIES

James Donovan: Aren't you worried?
Rudolf Abel: Would it help?

This is based on the true life story of one devoted lawyer during the cold war who was so bound to his job as a citizen of the USA that he would go so far as to never settle for second best. If you told him to do one job and that's it he would go out and finish the whole  thing. Tom Hanks delivers a stellar performance in this film, which shockingly is helped out with in the writing credits by none other than Joel and Ethan Coen! This goes as a VERY strong 10 out of 10.

goosebumps

R.L. Stine: [referring to the fence between their two houses] You see that fence?
Zach Cooper: Uh, yes...
R.L. Stine: [sternly] Stay on your side of it.

Finally all of R. L. Stine's popular creations get their own movie, but what I'm still trying to find out is why did  Jack Black decide to take on 3 roles 1 that wrote the books another that wants to do everything to see him dead and the other that's just a wacky invisible kid? 8 out of 10.
