The Hobbit

"Far over the misty mountains cold
To dungeons deep and caverns old
We must away ere break of day
To find our long forgotten gold.
The pines were roaring on the height,
The winds were moaning in the night,
The fire was red, it flaming spread;
The trees like torches blazed with light.
"

            Well folks, there’s good news and bad news. ‘The Insider’ newsletter has ended after almost 7 years. The good news is that doesn't mean I’m stopping my movie reviews any time soon. You can check out my movie blog at Mainstream Living, Inc. on their website.  Now back to the movie review of ‘The Hobbit’.
            We all know how Frodo Baggins was handed the one ring to rule them all and his task was to throw it in Mount Doom to kill the evil forever. But how did the ring come into his Uncle Bilbo's possession? The Hobbit tells the tale of how, not 7, but 13 dwarfs went on a magnificent quest to find a forgotten fortune.  This whole trilogy will begin with book 1, all the way to book 3 of The Hobbit Trilogy by author J.R.R. Tolkien.
            I think it could have done just a little better.  I’m giving this movie a 9 out of 10. But now since this is only a blog, I'll let you critique your way.
