The Fairly OddParents: Grow up timmy turner

This is a live action movie of the Nickelodeon series, with Drake Bell from Disney's The Amazing Spider-Man and Drake and Josh. Timmy is not the 10 year old he used to once be, now he is 23 and his mom and dad are trying very hard to get him to move out. And vicky his nemesis babysitter now has a "prison" for kids of her own where she treats them with the same harsh punishments she inflicted on timmy years ago. Chester McBadbat is now a security guard and has joyfully grew out of his braces wit his buddy A.J. still being his friend. The only problem is even though 23 timmy is still in High School.....he never left and DenzelCrocker still wants his faries for his own. In comes Danniella Monet who plays a grown-up and excetionally hot Tootie.

I have to give this a 9 out of 10 not because it made the series grown up but because when you look at it Drake Bell!

The Neighbors

I want to ask you a question. What would you do if your next-door neighbors were aliens?  No, I don't mean from overseas.  I mean from another planet! This typically funny ABC sitcom focuses on just that. A whole bunch of aliens comes to live amongst us, keeping cover and saying they are from France.  They explore our everyday lives like school, getting detentions, celebrating birthdays, jobs, etc. If you like comedies like 3rd Rock from the Sun, etc. you'll get a kick out of this one.

The Hobbit

"Far over the misty mountains cold
To dungeons deep and caverns old
We must away ere break of day
To find our long forgotten gold.
The pines were roaring on the height,
The winds were moaning in the night,
The fire was red, it flaming spread;
The trees like torches blazed with light.

            Well folks, there’s good news and bad news. ‘The Insider’ newsletter has ended after almost 7 years. The good news is that doesn't mean I’m stopping my movie reviews any time soon. You can check out my movie blog at Mainstream Living, Inc. on their website.  Now back to the movie review of ‘The Hobbit’.
            We all know how Frodo Baggins was handed the one ring to rule them all and his task was to throw it in Mount Doom to kill the evil forever. But how did the ring come into his Uncle Bilbo's possession? The Hobbit tells the tale of how, not 7, but 13 dwarfs went on a magnificent quest to find a forgotten fortune.  This whole trilogy will begin with book 1, all the way to book 3 of The Hobbit Trilogy by author J.R.R. Tolkien.
            I think it could have done just a little better.  I’m giving this movie a 9 out of 10. But now since this is only a blog, I'll let you critique your way.
